What we thought

"This was the first I'd heard of this game but I had some fun with it. Its a 1970s game so you're not going to expect much from it, but it was hilarious watching the bat come along and swoop in and take Rich's stuff, that bat is a legend. There wasn't much in the way of game play complexity, but as I said playing through it was a funny experience."

"The game play here is quite vissionary in a lot of ways, this is popularising so many ideas and is almost certainly an influence on later games like Zelda, with the non-linear set-up and item usage and such. Its quite difficult to review the game, as obviously its very crude and dated, with the player even effectively just being a square, but because its importance in the world of gaming cannot be denied (being one of the most significant video games released in the 1970s) I'm going to have to give it a full score."
