I rented Cool Spot for the SNES once way back in the day... that game was brutally hard for my 9-year old brain. I think I took it back within a day; way too tough for me back then.

I'd love to pick it up again and see how its changed over the years.

I rented it a couple times for the Genesis. I liked it.

I don't quite remember how difficult it was, but I was able to beat it. :lol:

I realise this is a little old, but you could have mentioned in the SNES gameplay section that you can hold down R to shoot on the spot*. Though personally it doesn't really add much for me as there's not many stationary enemies.

Hmmm, I'll check that out when I get the time as that sounds like it could make a difference to the gameplay, I'm in the middle of doing a Bubble Bobble comparison at the moment though so it could be a while (that game has a lot more to it than I originally thought)
