What we thought

Chris

"All in all I really enjoy this game, sure some of the minigames are a bit uninspired but others, such as the pipe one with Hamilton and the tennis game are quite fun. Its a very colourful game, and both graphically and musically its lovely. The game play whilst maybe not totally original also has its own small sparks of originality here and there. I do feel that its aimed at a young audience so I'm not going to criticise it for its length. Solid 4/5 for me."

"I think this is a reasonable game, I do think it has some good qualities to it but I feel its slightly disappointing for Konami as their standards are usualy so high. Graphics and animation are fantastic, but its a bit on the short side and I'm not keen on the difficulty as the curve seems to be all over the place, with some sections requiring some memorisation. But there definitely are some interesting game play mechanics, there's some influence from Sonic here, but it does try to do its own thing with the dash bar and the skidding and running up walls moves. The minigames are a mixed bag with some of them being little better than guesswork and I feel like they often break up the pacing of the game a bit."
