What we thought

"Well, I think the overall presentation here was a bit lackluster for the most part, aside from some of the enemy animations perhaps (seeing the submarines rising out of the waters was a nice touch). Music was also bland and samey in my opinion. The thing that I am keen on however, is the game play, excellent game play, I really enjoyed the duck and dodge freneticism of the experience. Given that I enjoyed this a lot more than Phelios, which came out the same year and which I gave a 3/5 to I'm giving this a 4/5"

"This is a pretty cool little frenetic shoot-em-up, there's piles of enemies onscreen and some screen-filling weapons as well. Outside of the impressive weaponry, graphically I don't think this is amazing though, it looks kind of drab and a bit grainy. The soundtrack has some impact to it, and helps to get the adrenaline pumping but the actual sound quality is a little rough too. This was the year that MUSHA and Elemental Master arrived on the Mega Drive and those games do kind of blow this away in my opinion, which is somewhat unfortunate as this is a pretty impressive game in its own right.
