What we thought |

"This is a very, very good game. I enjoyed using the different weaponry in the game, spread shots, machine guns etc etc, that was good fun. I also enjoyed the levels that had you walking into the screen as well. Added to all of that the inclusion of a 2-player co-operative mode just tips it to being a 5/5 for me, though I still personally prefer Bionic Commando from this year on NES." |

"This is a childhood favourite of mine, I love it, its just so action-packed! The controls in general are just so fluid and responsive that they allow you to improvise saves at the last second, and the inclusion of multi-directional firing is inspired too. I like the art design, I like the music, I do like virtually everything about this game to be honest! Probably the originator of all run n' gun games and obviously a big influence on a lot of people." |
