What we thought

"I really enjoyed this game, in fact I enjoyed pretty much everything about it. The music was quite good, the franticness of the game.... whoa you just had to be on the ball 24/7. Maybe the level design could be a little lacking at times but it did get better towards the end. I personally feel like this could be quite a big influence on the later bullet hell shooters of which I am a big fan of. Really enjoyable."

"You know what? I feel like I might have underrated this game somewhat over the years. I always felt like the game was a bit unfocused, that the level design was a bit messy, but now I feel like that might be missing the point of the game to an extent. Its just a balls-to-the-wall action experience that has you constantly on-edge dodging, whilst watching your power-up counter like a hawk as it slowly runs down. Its possibly the most frenetic 8-bit vertical shmup and I feel that its a notable improvement on its NES precursor Zanac, its just a more exciting game overall."
