What we thought

"Chip N' Dale has a good premise and good mechanics, but its just way too easy. The game takes ideas from Super Mario Bros 2 (such as the main attack being the picking up and throwing of objects) and tries to move on with these ideas a little, but frankly I'd rather just play Mario 2, a game that was made three years earlier and had a lot more to it than this."

"I did own this game when I was younger so I have some fondness for it. It plays well in my opinion and has good presentation, with fine music and reasonable graphics, but its too short and easy. Not only does the game give you three continues, but lives randomly float past you during every level that are just ripe for the picking, and at the end of each level there's even more lives to be gained in the bonus stage! I don't understand why a game this short would allow you to bypass this many levels either, its an odd decision, it would've been better if Capcom had made two endings, with a better ending being given for doing every stage. Overall I feel that this game is still above average, I like the throwing mechanic and the 2-player option is a nice addition, so I'm giving it a 3/5."
