What we thought

Chris

"This game has quite a clever puzzle system but the way the fighting works is a real pain, you could be punching for ages but not achieve anything for like 10 seconds. The game was also lacking in-game music as well, which would have alleviated some of the tedium of having to redo the puzzles that you've already worked out on previous playthroughs. It is a good game, I like the puzzles, and the graphics were good too (Stripey is cool), but the fighting really does let it down."

"I think this is quite a clever game, the puzzles are notable for the time it came out (such as the rebounding laser puzzle and sections that involve putting on an enemy costume to creep around the base), and are perhaps more advanced than even those found in Zelda. You can also take multiple different routes through the game, which is cool. The adventuring elements are where this game really shines and are quite ahead of its time, however in other areas the game falters, such as with the fighting mechanics which are a real pain and are awkward and unintuitive.
