"I think this is a reasonable game, even outside of the context of the Spectrum it was still reasonable in 1987. Sure its not going to be winning any awards for its graphics and yeah the year this arrived there were some fantastic action-adventure games being released (Faxanadu and Rygar spring to mind), games with huge worlds stacked with content that featured great graphics and music that completely blow this game away. But this game has some level of charm, it introduced a character who would be a big gaming presence later on here in Europe, and its not really fair to compare these game anyway as Dizzy sold for only £1.99 at the time! and for that £1.99 you did get a proper action-adventure experience where you could explore different environments and go on an adventure, travelling through icy wastes and mines and such before reaching a wizards castle.
