"This game I feel is a little below average to be honest. I don't think that I can even give this a positive score considering what was out at the time, its peers were just much better. I guess Its somewhat okay, but nothing really to write home about"

"This is an okay game but I don't think its amazing or anything, its a bit basic and I don't feel like its really progressed much from the original Wonder Boy arcade game from 1986! The boss fights and music I think were really the stand out things with this game that improved on earlier releases, but I missed the rideable animals that were present in the NES sequels, I don't know why they got rid of them for this one"
