What we thought

Chris

In comparison to other Disney games we've played, like Duck Tales I do think this is an improvement. Its a good length, and the levels do progressively get longer (whilst the boss fights I believe get progressively easier, heh). It gives you a few options with your weapons, which is nice, and the animations are nice as well. An enjoyable, challenging game.

I think this is a pretty good late Master System game. Its a reasonable length and it holds its own quite well even against some of the early 16-bit games. I mean, obviously games like Super Mario World look better than this, but this is still pretty decent and the animation as we noted, is especially good, with the frames being changed depending on which environment Donald was in. Gameplay wise its pretty varied, with levels having different elements (some have wind blowing you around whilst other have melting ice blocks and such). I do feel like I prefer the NES Duck Tales game but there are tradeoffs, this is the game that Disney fans should pick if they want more of a challenge.
