Breath of Fire |

Very good for a first attempt at the RPG genre from Capcom. Breath of Fire does little to stand out amongst the plethora of fantastic RPG's on the system, but is certainly still a very solid game. |

Konami's popular series of Footy games were pretty much the only real competition for FIFA back in the day, and on the SNES this game was the champ. |

Panel De Pon/Tetris Attack |

One of the more noteworthy of the Tetris style games to come out of that period, Panel De Pon centers around you swapping neighboring blocks with the goal of matching up three of a type, the game was re branded in the west as Tetris Attack, with its sequel appearing on the N64 re branded as a Pokemon game. |

A very fun, simplified take on the action RPG genre, game play revolves around entering the dungeons and dispatching all the enemies and spawn points in a Gauntlet fashion, as each enemy is defeated a section of over world village is rebuilt, or a villager restored. Rebuilding the land is a really excellent addition and makes the game play more addictive and rewarding. |

Putty Squad |

A very under appreciated search and rescue based platformer which oozes charm and style, has a unique and original move set, lots of humour and a brilliant split screen multiplayer co-op. Sequel to the popular Amiga game Silly Putty (which also appeared on SNES as Super Putty) |

A very strange and unique RPG which spans over millions of years as you evolve your life form through different stages. Starting out as a lowly fish, attacking and eating the other sea creatures levels you up allowing you to add new appendages to your creature, eventually even evolving to become a land mammal and more. |

Plok |

Plok is a relatively original platformer which has you using your limbs to attack with as projectiles and to solve puzzles, being careful not to lose too many of them lest you to be relegated to hopping around everywhere. The game has tons of charm and humour and some really excellent music from the ever talented Tim Follin. |

One of the all time fondly remembered classic sports titles out there, a very fun game to play that was much more balanced than its forebears. |

A fantastic action game that gives you excellent, fluid controls, some unique game play elements such as sky diving, and some of the most sumptuous and colourful graphics on the SNES. |

Castlevania: Dracula X |

Going more for an all out action experience than the earlier Super Castlevania IV, Dracula X (known as Vampire's Kiss in Europe) mostly succeeds, its just a shame that the game was a bit disappointing in comparison to its main influence, the PC-Engine's Rondo of Blood. |
