One of the bigger problems with some of the Disney games on Mega Drive is that they could occasionally be a little bit lightweight, offering little challenge or length, not so with Quackshot which was a much longer and more involving game than its siblings, having more variety and thoughtful level designs whilst retaining the charm and high presentation the Disney games had gained a reputation for. |

Blue Sky did a good job of converting the pen and paper original to the Mega Drive, creating a system that worked well within the constraints of the console as well as conveying the original feel and style which made the original a classic, if you like your RPG's to be complicated and in depth this is heartily recommended. |

Great atmosphere, faster game play, gore and brilliant set-pieces make this one of my absolute favourite Castlevania games, the differences between the two characters was also pronounced enough to give notably varying play experiences too. |

One of the first truly 3D racing games out there Virtua Racing really wowed everyone the first time they saw it. the game does miss out on some of the greatness of the arcade original, but enough is left intact for it to still succeed in being a great game in it's own right and one of the best 16-bit racers around. |

Probably the deepest and most interesting of the block puzzle games to be released in the wake of Tetris, Puyo Puyo contained a simple to learn, difficult to master game play system that was also a joy to play on multi-player. The Mega Drive port, which was renamed and rebranded as Dr Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine was the best version when it came out and the first to be released in the west, predating the SNES port by two whole years. |

A great action game which contains an excellent power-up system similar to the one in Thunder Force (though upgradeable) and tons of unrelenting action. The game is very difficult, and is along with Gaiares one of the hardest shmups on the system, so its probably more for hardcore fans. Also ludicrously overpriced on Ebay unfortunately. |

Treasure do it again releasing another stone cold classic run and gun game, this time squarely aimed at hardcore fans, they pretty much give you all the options, controls and weapons you could dream of then throw you into the deep end with impressive boss fight after boss fight. |

A good version of a classic puzzle game. Everybody probably already knows about Lemmings already anyway, so I don't really need to write anything do I? |

Sega did a wonderful job converting Capcom's classic to the Mega Drive, and as such the game became one of the system's early release classics. In my opinion this is probably the most fun and accessible of the games in the series, the multi-directional firing really helps to balance out the trademark regimented jumping style the games are known for. |

Kid Chameleon |

It may have been blatantly inspired by the Mario series but Kid Chameleon manages to have a style and personality of it's own, gone are the happy plains of the mushroom kingdom to be replaced by a bleak dog eat dog world. The makers took a different direction to Miyamoto too, focusing more on expanding Mario 3's different suits (which were pretty much forgotten about for Mario World) the variety of suits and their secondary gem functions really add to the level of strategy and the depth in the game, with many sections of the levels only reachable by retaining suits picked up many stages previously. |
