"A very enjoyable game. Gameplay wise its very good fun, I like the way you get all the different moves as the game progresses. I also like the graphics, the monsters are quite cool (though there wasn't much variety in them as they kept reusing the same monsters throughout the game). There's also a good amount of replayability as you can choose your own path and what moves to pick up"

"I like this game and think its underrated. The action is reasonably good, I like the style with all the old school Japanese mythical monsters such as Oni and such, and the adventure aspects put it above the average for the time. I'd say its a pretty rewarding game as well as you're constantly progressing and powering your character up more and more. Its perhaps an acquired taste, but its a great game, and if it had come out a little earlier it would've been a 5/5 but the bar was pushed a little higher this year with releases like Bionic Commando and Mega Man 2 and such so it just missed out on the top score for me."
