Here's the latest Top 100 list and for this one I've decided to take a look at Sega's first worldwide console, The under-appreciated Sega Master System. The usual rules stand for this feature, I've attempted to represent all genre's equally, imports are included only if no understanding of Japanese is required, and ports from older systems are low priority.

Now, due to the Master System only achieving any level of popularity in Europe and South America, whilst dying off pretty fast in the United States and Japan many of it's best games did not receive a worldwide release, due to this factor I've decided to mark down the countries each game was released in.

Luckily Master System games are region free and can be imported and played with little trouble for the most part, with only those specifically designed to play at 50hz (European TV standard) causing any trouble.

- Games marked with this were designed to be played on the original NTSC Master System and so will play perfectly on a US system. They will play too slowly on the European Master System.

- Games marked with this were designed for the European Master System but will still play on the US system, albeit playing a little faster than they are supposed to.

- Games marked with this were specifically designed to be played on the European Master System and will have serious issues when played on a US Master System, ranging from major graphical glitches to not actually booting up at all.

Thanks and enjoy the list
